Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years experience in a Maintenance Planning,
Scheduling role or as Journeyman.
* Maintenance background (Journeyman certification or Technologist)
* Experience in planning for multiple crafts
* Expert user in CMMS systems, specifically Equipment Maintenance,
Purchasing Modules
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Project ,maximo, JDE or SAP
* Knowledge of maintenance business processes and best practices,
roles of specific trades, and manufacturing processes in an Upgrader, Extraction,
Refinery or similar Petrochemical operation
* Strong organizational and effective time management skills
* Flexibility in managing changing priorities and ability to work
with minimum supervision
* Courses and seminars in the following areas: Scheduling,
Planning, Estimating, and Time Management are an asset
* Experience in a team environment is desired

 Future E & I and Mechanical (Maintenance) Specialist


The position will report to the Reliability Team  in the
Maintenance department.The Reliability Specialist will be a member of the Reliability Improvement Team and will report to the Reliability ImprovementTeam Coordinator. The successful candidate will bring broad knowledge of a plant equipment including, instrumentation & control,electrical and rotating equipment. They will initially be focused on leading and participating in root cause analysis, front end project development,reviewing and updating equipment care plans and performing life cycle assessments of critical equipment.

The Reliability Improvement Team is a part of the Maintenance
Department, but its influence covers all departments. The focus is on
the four components of Operational Reliability: Equipment Reliability;
Equipment Maintainability; Process Reliability; and Human Reliability.

The prime deliverables for the team include:
Managing identification and prioritization of the site Reliability Threats list Leading and participate in defect elimination activities as appropriate (RCA, Problem Resolution Teams, etc.)
Interfacing with other departments to solve issues
Life Cycle Cost assessments Developing and enhancing site reliability programs (PM living program; spare parts philosophy; criticality reviews; RCM) Reliability infrastructure Front end project development
Turnaround worklist development (for reliability) Reliability KPI development and collation, benchmarking with other Reliability education and awareness Working Conditions

Dayshift position with time spent between office and plant site. During
incidents the incumbent may be required to work longer hours to collect key investigation information. On-call for incident investigation with rotation among team
